This software offers a
solution for users who want to extract text from text files before
and/or after specified characters. The user first chooses the required
files, an entire folder or can simply drag and drop them into the file
pane; there's an option to load a sample file for testing. The user
enters the search string and then, using a drop down menu, sets the
number of lines to be extracted above and/or below, either choosing from
the list of options or entering a custom number for each (x & y). The
line containing the search string will be extracted along with the
specified text. Using this easy to use software, large numbers of files
can be mined for specific data with just one click. |
